Parleen, a name not new to the people was born on 15th September 1987, inculcated the talent of singing and dancing at a very young age and was involved in his several local talent shows and competitions. He gets his values, discipline, and great personality from his father who is a proud gazetted officer of the Indian Army. Parleen as a solo artist is not only extolled for his polished singing but also for being a great performer and is the heartthrob of most of the youngsters. He is the epitome of looks, personality, humble nature, and of course great singing which makes him one of the most idiosyncratic contestants of the entire Indian Idol series.
